Airborne Toxic Event Release Music Video for Second Single, All I Ever Wanted

The Airborne Toxic EventThe Airborne Toxic Event has released a new music video for their song “All I Ever Wanted.” Watch the video, featuring Nora from Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros and the drummer of LA band The Deadly Syndrome in acting rolls.

“All I Ever Wanted” is the second single from the band’s most recent album, All At Once, which was released in May on Island/Def Jam to resounding praise.

The album’s first single, “Changing,” has experienced plenty of success, landing #4 on the Alternative Song charts. The band’s newest single “All I Ever Wanted” has been #1 most added at Alternative and is climbing the charts currently.

The Airborne Toxic Event will spend the majority of the remaining months of 2011 touring, and they have earned their reputation as an aggressive touring act. The band played more than 350 dates in support of their acclaimed 2008 debut album release.

Currently on the road in the United States, The Airborne Toxic Event will headlining LA Weekly’s LA 101 festival, an all-day celebration of Angeleno music, art and culture, when it returns for its third installment at Gibson Amphitheatre on October 23rd. Built To Spill was recently added to a stellar line up, curated by The Airborne Toxic Event, that also includes Tokyo Police Club, and Delta Spirit.

The band will follow the Los Angeles show with dates in Europe in October and early November. When those shows end the band will be back to the US for more dates in November.

The Airborne Toxic Event 2011 World Tour Dates and Leno Appearance

The Airborne Toxic EventLos Angeles’ The Airborne Toxic Event have announced dates for their world tour. The tour stretches across both the U.S. and Europe for the remainder of 2011, from Anchorage to Amsterdam. Their hometown show in Los Angeles will be in front of an audience of 6,000 at the Gibson Amphitheatre. The band have earned their reputation as an aggressive touring act, known for playing more than 350 dates in support of their 2008 debut album release, supporting Kings of Leon, Franz Ferdinand, and many others. In addition to the live show, the band will be performing on NBC’s The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Friday, September 30th. The band have already played on The Tonight Show earlier this year, as well as having appeared on CBS’s The Late Show With David Letterman, Conan, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and CBS’s Last Call With Carson Daly.

This tour comes in support of their successful and acclaimed sophomore album, All At Once, which was released in May on Island/Def Jam.

“Changing” the album’s first single was a juggernaut at alternative radio, landing at #4 on the format’s chart.

The Airborne Toxic Event’s All At Once in Stores Today

Los Angeles-based rock band, The Airborne Toxic Event have released their sophomore record, All At Once, today on Island Records. All At Once is the band’s first studio album since their 2008 self-titled debut, which was named “Debut Album of the Year” by the Boston Herald. First single “Changing” is currently #9 at Alternative Radio. All At Once is already being hailed by critics as even more impressive than the band’s successful debut.

The band also has a number of television appearances to promote their highly anticipated album. Tonight, April 26, the band will be performing on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and will be performing on Thursday, April 28, hitting the outside stage on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. On April 20, the band will bring their presence to The Late Show with David Letterman, as well as being the musical guest on hit show Gossip Girl during the May 16th season finale.

Since its release in 2008, The Airborne Toxic Event, the band’s self-titled debut album has sold over 200,000 copies in the U.S., and over 300,000 copies internationally. The record spent 53 weeks on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, with eight of those weeks logged at #1. The album’s breakthrough single “Sometime Around Midnight” rose to #4 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart, and was named Alternative Song Of The Year at iTunes. The next single, “Wishing Well,” broke the Top 20 at Alternative radio. The songs received major airplay internationally on BBC Radio 1 in the UK, Australia, France, Germany, Austria, Canada, Japan, Switzerland, and South East Asia.

The Airborne Toxic Event – Mikel Jollett (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Steven Chen (guitar, keyboards), Anna Bulbrook (viola, keyboards, tambourine, backing vocals), Noah Harmon (bass, backing vocals), and Daren Taylor (drums) – have also just begun their tour of the United States, playing five nights in a row in Los Angeles this week at five different venues, each one larger than the night before. The band will tour the United States and Europe throughout May and June, and have already Sold Out numerous shows in Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, London, and Chicago. The Airborne Toxic Event is certainly no stranger to grand musical gestures. They were the only modern music artists to perform at the esteemed Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles during its 2009 fall season. The result was the concert-documentary film All I Ever Wanted, released September 2010, and chosen as an official selection to the Raindance Film Festival. The band will also be performing with The Colorado Symphony later this month.
